Volunteering

Kirsty Buggins is voluntary member of the Board of Trustees for the Wellington Sexual Abuse HELP Foundation. The Sexual Abuse Help Foundation has been operating since 1985 in Wellington & since 2005 in the Porirua region providing a comprehensive rape & sexual abuse crisis support & counselling service.  Their vision is a society free from sexual violence.

Memberships

Butterfly Consultancy & Training is a member of the Fundraising Institute of New ZealandFINZ is the professional body for fundraisers & organisations involved with charities & not-for-profits in New Zealand. FINZ works with over 200 charities & not-for-profit organisations on local, national & global issues.

Butterfly Consultancy & Training is a member of Wellington Rape Crisis. Wellington Rape Crisis is a Support Centre for survivors of rape & sexual abuse, their families, friends & whanau. Their core values ensure that they work in ways that are Feminist; Informed; Holistic & Sustainable.

Butterfly Consultancy & Training is a member of the New Zealand Federation of Vocational & Social Services (VASS). VASS is a federation of 70 community organisations that support disabled people by helping them identify & fulfil their personal goals & aspirations, find work & participate in their communities.

Butterfly Consultancy & Training is a member of the New Zealand Disability Support Network (NZDSN)NZDSN is an incorporated society of members, represented by a Board of Governance.  Their visions is an inclusive New Zealand. Their purpose is to lead & influence change that supports inclusive lives.

Associations & Partnerships

Kirsty Buggins is a contract educator for the Sexual Abuse Prevention Network. SAPN’s primary objective is to coordinate and support effective primary sexual violence prevention initiatives alongside complementary community groups, agencies, and networks on a local and national level.

Kirsty Buggins is an associate trainer & developmental evaluation team leader for SAMS. The primary focus of SAMS is to work in partnership with disabled persons, families/whanau, agencies & other stakeholders to improve community services for people with a disability & /or mental health issues.

Butterfly Consultancy & Training holds an exclusive licence in New Zealand to deliver training on The Outcomes Star™, in association with Triangle ConsultingTriangle works in collaboration with funders, service providers, commissioners, universities & sector umbrella bodies world-wide to develop, support & research versions of the Star.

Kirsty Buggins is an accredited facilitator of the WorldsView Academy Nine Conversations In Leadership™. WorldsView Academy is a specialist organisational development (OD) institution enabling organisations to become more effective, in a healthy way.
